SKY KINGS WWII Era Combat Game Minitures-at-www.hangar18fasa.com

SKY KINGS is a alternate / multiverse WWII era world domination scenarial-My premise that in another alternate reality after the attack on Pearl Harbor the United States of America entered the War-But chose not to rebuild the U.S. Navy, but instead entered the war two years later with Huge aerial Battle Bomber's -Super fortresses of destruction developed by the most powerful Industrialist in the free world that will sell to any nation for Profit. By delaying their Entry into the War allowed for Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan to fully develope their XProjects-giving them a foothold of Dominance and Superiority in the Skies as they Bombard all the major Nations of the world unchallenged-Until the Allied Nations formed the SKY KINGS.......

Major battles are fought in the air between Lighter than air rigid frame Battle Zepplins and flying weapons platforms exchanging  broadside fire at one another, aided by fighter craft all the while Bomber craft on missions to devastate  one anothers Capitals, war factories and Industry in order to cripple that nations ability to fight.

The basic Ideal is asign point values to each miniture and terrain peice-choose how many points game to be played.  Each Nation must have a Capital(HQ) and either Supply warehouses and depots (limited surplus) or Factories to produce unlimited surplus-protect your HQ and factories with defense systems
and retaliate with long range Offensive's.

Perform Bombing missions into your opponents territories at great risk to get past their defenses to take out their capital, or Industry with High-Exsplosives.

  1. Fantastic stuff! I really like how your alt-russians are not hyper commies, but an impereal force instead, as opposed to every other interpretation out there. I think it makes for an interesting "what if the revolution never succeeded" scenraio. But might I suggest changing the red stars for something else instead? I know it's borderline obsessive, but I think it would look really cool and go better with the whole idea, if they had some imperial eagles or modified heralrdry on their machines instead. Perhaps a variaton of the white-blue-red tricolor or the white with a blue saltire (the Andreyevsky flag).
Anyway, sorry for dropping in like that, I imagine you have your own plans and reasons for the design. :) Good work again, looking forward to learn more about the game!

  2. Hey Luka, thanks much for the response-yep! that would have been better to have red-Imperial eagels-I had looked for someone to make decales-but just not enough time and I was lucky to find the vendors I did-I'm simply someone that makes these minis in my shop and I'm happy when they are well received-I was thinking about a kinda Water-World Battleship scenarial with all manner of Component Warships that you can build-called IRON PIRATES! thanks Again-Robz

  3. Ok, I don't know how you knew that, but I have a soft spot the size of an H.M.S. Victory for all things naval/priatey and am perhaps one of the 5 people in the world, who really liked Waterworld. A diesel-punk game of welded heaps of rust, seaplanes, speedy trimarans and artificial islands? Awesome! You could even make it work alongside the Skykings, just the scale of the ships would perhaps be better a bit smaller.

  4. Oh and while we're talking of the scoundrells; may I propose a pirate faction for the sky kings? You know; high-tech rebels with a secret base and colourful planes with individual markings ... :D
    OK, I'll stop now ...
